These terms of service outline the rules and regulations for the use of LOWBAE Ceramics' Website.

By accessing and buying this website we assume you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions (in full) and any additional specific terms which may apply to certain goods. Do not continue to use LOWBAE Ceramics' website if you do not accept all of the terms of service stated on this page.
Under the Consumer Contracts (information, cancellation and additional charges) regulations 2013 we are required to give certain information which is contained within these terms and conditions, on our website and within the product descriptions.
The following terminology applies to these Terms of Service, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company's terms of service. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to LOWBAE Ceramics. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client's needs in respect of the provision of the Company's stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of United Kingdom. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.
1. Your contract with us
As soon as a client places an order on our website, we will acknowledge the order by sending the client an email confirmation but this is not an acceptance of the order. Orders will be fully accepted once we have received full payment for the order which cannot be later than 7 days after the order is placed. There are certain circumstances in which we will not accept orders:
-when the goods are out of stock
-if payments are not fully or correctly processed or received by us
-if there is a mistake in the prices of the goods and services
-if we have any suspicions of fraudulent activity
-if we foresee problems with the delivery
-if we decide against it due to internal company reasons
In the case that we decide not to accept an order, we will let the client know as soon as possible.
Pre-Orders or Commission orders on this website will be fulfilled/despatched within the timeframe stated on the product description after payment is received. We cannot/will not post any orders until payment has been received in full.
In-stock orders on this website will be fulfilled/despatched within 5-7 days of payment being received. We cannot/will not post any orders until payment has been received in full.
Orders will be safely packed and handed to the agreed courier; we use Royal Mail for our deliveries.
Under this contract, we will work with CPT (Carriage Paid To) terms, by which we agree to pack the order, arrange the delivery of the client’s order and hand the order to the carrier (either at our premises on collection or at another safe place for drop off). When available we will provide tracking numbers and methods to monitor these. However, once this is handed to the agreed delivery company (or first carrier, in case the delivery involves more than one company), the responsibility for communicating with the delivery company and arranging safe delivery lies with the client.
Orders will be sent with no insurance unless requested and agreed upon differently at the time of the contract.
2. Our duty to supply purchased goods
We adhere to relevant legislation or codes of conduct (i.e. Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008).
3. Delivery
LOWBAE Ceramics ships anywhere in the UK using Royal Mail delivery. In the event that there is nobody to collect the parcel nor there is safe space to leave the parcel, Royal Mail will leave a note with directions for collection. If you do not collect your item from the post office within the time stipulated on the card and the item is returned to LOWBAE Ceramics, we reserve the right to charge for re-postage.

4. Packing
All of our orders are carefully packaged using sustainable or recycled materials when possible. However, in some cases, we'd have to use other less sustainable materials due to availability or to provide better padding.
5. Delivery fees
We offer the following delivery services and prices:

Royal Mail SIGNED FOR First Class (Including packaging):
For parcels under 30 g (eg. one A5 sticker sheet) - £4.35
For parcels under 1 kg (eg. one Capybara Mug) - £8.05
For parcels between 1 kg and 2kg (eg. two Capybara Mugs) - £10.05
For parcels between 2 kg and 5kg (eg. two Capybara Mugs) - £12.05
5.2. EU & WORLDWIDE
Royal Mail International TRACKED & SIGNED (Including packaging):
For parcels under 30g (eg. one A5 sticker sheet) - £9.85
For parcels between 30g and 1kg (eg. two Capybara Mugs) - £23.95
For parcels between 1kg and 2kg (eg. Three Capybara Mugs) - £28.65

5.3. USA & CANADA
Royal Mail International TRACKED & SIGNED (Including packaging):
For parcels under 30g (eg. one A5 sticker sheet) - £9.85
For parcels between 30g and 1kg (eg. two Capybara Mugs) - £28.45
For parcels between 1kg and 2kg (eg. Three Capybara Mugs) - £36.15
6. Prices and availability
Delivery fees, prices and availability of item(s) are subject to change without prior notice.

7. Returns and Exchanges
Our prints and original artworks are either handmade or produced through suppliers. Our ceramic products are handmade with great care, therefore, subtle differences are expected from item to item. Products may appear differently in person from the displayed picture if there’s a quantity option available on the specific item. Products listed without a quantity option should appear as pictured. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us.

If you wish to return your purchases, please contact us first via email info.lowbae@gmail.com for us to authorise the return/exchange procedure. We do not accept unauthorised returns under any circumstances. In order for us to arrange an exchange or refund, please ensure the piece is in its original condition (unused and unmarked) and send it back to us within 14 days of receipt. Once a piece has been used, we can no longer accept the product as a return for a refund. We will not refund delivery fees from your original purchases, and we do not reimburse postage on items that are being returned unless the products were deemed faulty by us. Please ensure you have proof of postage as we accept no liability for loss of returns in the post.

8. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order before it has been posted to you, then please confirm this by email as soon as possible and we will reimburse you the cost within 30 days. If the order has already been posted but not received, we will not refund the value for delivery charges. We will only be able to process the refund after the order returns safely and intact to our premises.

9. Notes & caring guide for ceramic products
Our ceramic products are handmade with great care, therefore, subtle differences are expected from item to item. Products may also appear differently in person from pictures displayed on shop listings or marketing campaigns. The products are mainly handmade with high-fired clay bodies like stoneware buff, black stoneware, porcelain and Parian porcelain. They are more susceptible to damage and require more care than normal mass-produced or factory-made ceramics.

Unless listed otherwise on the product description, all ceramic products listed are not oven or microwave safe. Please avoid leaving liquids in them for long periods of time if possible, wash by hand quickly after use and refrain from using any strongly staining foods/liquids with them.
