Norfolk Beaches

To memorialise the wavy coastlines, textural landscape, and peaceful moments, this ceramic sculptural plate triptych is Ruby’s ceramic interpretation of her endearing memories at the Norfolk beaches. The Norfolk wild clay was collected in a field near the sea palling beach, hand processed and rigorously tested for months, which resulted in the clay body and slip used to create this collection. The beach sand was also collected at the Norfolk coast, and the Parian Porcelain clay body was recycled from her previous project productions.
